There are several scholarships in the United Kingdom with different eligibility criteria. One important thing to note, however, is that most of the scholarship opportunities in the UK are merit-based. Of course, there are university specific scholarships and scholarships for students from a particular region (EU, Middle-East, Asia, and Africa) or country (India, France, China, Pakistan, etc.). Still most of these UK scholarships are highly competitive; so you must be really talented or brilliant to make the cut.

There is the British Chevening Scholarships which provides international students partial and full scholarships for full-time graduate programs in any field. Every year, the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission (CSC) provides scholarships as well as fellowships to interested students from Commonwealth countries who seek to pursue Masters or PhD and progress professionally. And there is the Royal Society Grants for brilliant UK researchers and their international counterparts. Meanwhile, several Universities including but not limited to the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, University College London and University of West London all offer several undergraduate and postgraduate bursaries and scholarships sponsored by different bodies.
