Western Michigan “Secchia Scholars II” Scholarships
The Secchia Family Foundation's Secchia Scholars program awards partial tuition scholarships each year to qualifying students. The five types of Secchia Scholarships are available for degree-seeking, visiting and study abroad students applying to JCU. Secchia Scholarships are awarded for one semester or one year. (Semester recipients may reapply for a second semester award.)
These grants pay a significant portion of JCUs tuition.
Eligibility
These scholarships are open to you if you meet the following criteria:
- You are a resident of and voter in Western Michigan (click here for a map of the qualifying Michigan region). One scholarship, the Don Lubbers Scholarship at GVSU, is dedicated exclusively to a student from Grand Valley State University applying to John Cabot University as a degree-seeking student or as a study abroad student attending for one semester;
- You are a student at JCU majoring in Business Administration or International Affairs. Study abroad applicants must have declared one of the following majors at their home institution as their field of study: accounting, business administration, economics, managerial science (all areas), mathematics, computer science, engineering or fields of study related to business and/or economics.
Benefits
The scholarship entitles you to a reduction of 15% off the current JCU tuition and an award of $3,500 applied to the remaining tuition
