The Dean of CoSE Merit Scholarship – Europe is offered by the College of Sciences and Engineering to encourage high performing international students from countries in Europe to study blue and green sciences at the University of Tasmania, commencing study in Semester 1 (February) or Semester 2 (July), 2021.
The College of Sciences and Engineering is made up of a wide range of teaching and research areas, each delivering exciting study options and world-class research.
The College capitalises on the distinctive culture and ecology of Tasmania’s island laboratory, bringing together expertise in architecture and design, information and communication technology, physical and human geography, and surveying and spatial sciences. Sustainable regional development, urban livability, Earth observations, and habitat conservation are some of our core focus areas.
Eligibility
Available to high achieving international students from Europe who have an offer of a full-time place in one of the onshore postgraduate coursework degrees commencing in Semester 1 (February) or Semester 2 (July), 2021. The full list of available coursework degrees can be found within the link.
To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Credit 5.0/7.0 result in all CoSE units studied each semester.

Benefits
Each scholarship covers 50% of registered tuition fees (includes Students Services and Amenities Fees) for the duration of the course.
Application
Students are assessed automatically for the Dean of CoSE Merit Scholarship - Europe upon submission of their International Student Application, there is no need to submit a separate scholarship application.
