You're eligible to apply if you: • are a citizen of Malaysia, and normally live in Malaysia • have received a letter of offer for any one of our economics coursework programs. Dual programs with economics are also eligible, but the scholarship will only apply to the economics part of the dual program. You're not eligible if you: • are already enrolled at UQ or studying at UQ on study abroad or exchange • are already studying a diploma, certificate, Foundation Studies or degree program in Australia, other than an English language course. If you are learning English in Australia to prepare for study or to sit an English language test, you are eligible to apply. • are already holding another scholarship for tuition fees.

Application
Apply using the online application form. The form will take at least 20 minutes to complete and allows you to apply for other scholarships at the same time. You can save your progress and resume your application at any time. You'll need: • your resume • a personal statement about why you wish to study this program at UQ, your career and personal goals, and what you’ve done in the past that shows your commitment to these goals (no more than 1,000 words) • a reference letter in English, from a teacher at your institution or from an employer, that ranks your academic performance against your peer group. Applications close on the same dates every year: • 30 November for Semester 1 • 30 May for Semester 2.
