The University of Leeds is offering up to 18 University Research Scholarships for international students. These scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered at the School of English.
The University of Leeds is a redbrick university in the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire. Officially founded in the early 20th century, the university’s origins can be traced back to the 19th century, when the Yorkshire College of Science was established. It was one of the first colleges in the UK for students of all faiths and backgrounds, set up to challenge the exclusivity of Oxford and Cambridge.
Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
