Provided by the Westpac Scholars Trust, the Future Leaders Scholarship supports exceptional individuals to undertake graduate study or research in the areas of technology and innovation, strengthening Australia-Asia ties or enabling positive social change. The University of Melbourne is one of the partner universities that delivers the Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship.

Graduate or research degree in the areas of technology and innovation.
To be eligible for this studentship, the applicant must have to apply for admission to graduate coursework or research degree at the University of Melbourne for the academic year 2019-2020.
Eligible candidates will be selected based on demonstrated academic excellence, a desire and potential to lead and a bold vision to contribute to the growth and prosperity of Australia.
The TOEFL® test is a popular option for students to meet the English-language requirements for scholarships.
The Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship provides the following benefits:
- Up to $120,000 over 2-3 years to cover the cost of study (e.g. course fees, living allowance, travel and conference attendance)
- Enrolment in a nine-month bespoke Leadership Development Program
- Opportunity to add a global context to your education, with a tailored international experience of up to six months
- Lifelong membership in the Westpac 100 Scholars Network
If you are interested in this education award, aspirants are required to take affirmation in the graduate degree coursework at the university. After being registered, candidates can apply for this bursary.
Applicant must have to attach a CV, personal statement, and portfolio, letter of motivation and letter of recommendation.
For taking admission, claimants are needed to meet the general entry requirements of the university. English is the language of instruction when you come to study in Melbourne.
