University of Leicester President’s Scholarships in UK, 2017

University of Leicester is now accepting applications for 50 President’s postgraduate scholarships in 2017. This scholarship is for new international (non-EU) students on a full-time, taught, campus-based masters course starting in September or October.
University of Leicester’s aim is to be a world-class research-intensive university and deliver teaching and facilitate learning of the highest quality.
The University was founded as Leicestershire and Rutland University College in 1921. The site for the university was donated by a local textile manufacturer, Thomas Fielding Johnson, in order to create a living memorial for those who lost their lives in First World War.
This scholarship is open to applicants who already have an offer (conditional or unconditional) to study for a Masters degree programme at the University.

The TOEFL® test is a popular option for students to meet the English-language requirements for scholarships.
The monetary amount of scholarship is £3,500.
The mode of applying is by post or electronically. Students who meet the eligibility criteria for this scholarship but are unsuccessful with their application, will automatically be considered for the Head of College Scholarship Scheme. There is no need to make a separate application.
