Recipients must be full-fee-paying international students. Applicants may NOT be:
Citizens of Aotearoa New Zealand or Australia;
Permanent residents of Australia; or
Holders of Aotearoa New Zealand residence class visas.
Applicants cannot be current or former students in a programme for a BE(Hons) degree at the University.
- Selection will be based on:
- Academic achievement;
- Demonstrated commitment to, and interest in, Engineering;
- Cultural, and/or sporting participation, and/or community service;
- General character; and
- Strategic goals of the University.

- March (for those who will be first enrolling for the following Semester 2, or for Summer School)
- August (for those who are studying in New Zealand at that date)
- October (for those who are studying overseas at that date)
