- Scholarships are granted to up to 30 % of the admitted students who are subject to tuition fees and have applied for a scholarship.
- Scholarships are awarded for two years, the second year is conditional and depends on the progress of the studies. In order to secure the scholarship for the second year, a scholarship holder must earn at least 55 ECTS (for 100% scholarships)/ 45 ECTS (for 50% scholarships) during the first academic year (the progress of the studies is checked at the end of May).

Application
To be considered for the Åbo Akademi University tuition fee scholarship you must apply for the scholarship as part of your application for admission during the application period. Applicants will find, in the application form, a set of questions evaluating motivation and communicative skills, academic goals and general interest in the field.
