Benefits

Not more than four awards will be made each year to deserving undergraduate students in the Music Department to help them defray the cost of the individual instrumental lessons they are required to take with an approved teacher. One of these will be made to a student who wishes to take tuition for an Irish Traditional Instrument.

Application

In considering students for these awards, account will be taken of the financial circumstances of those who apply for them as well as their level of instrumental proficiency where "Instrumental" may be interpreted to include the notion of solo singing and singing lessons.
