Eligibility
The Study Award programme supports both full-term and mid-term applications. To be eligible for a full-term study award, you must: • be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; • possess good GCE ‘A’ level, International Baccalaureate (IB), polytechnic diploma and/or university results; • have an intention to apply to a local university, have applied to a local university, or gained admission into a recognised Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or Early Childhood Education programme in a local university; and • demonstrate leadership traits, involvement in community work, and a strong interest/commitment to serve SPD and the social service sector. To be eligible for a mid-term study award, you must: • be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; • be an existing student pursuing a related course of study at a local university; • have at least one academic year remaining at the point of application; • possess good university results to date; and • demonstrate leadership traits, involvement in community work, and a strong interest/commitment to serve SPD and the social service sector.

Benefits
The Study Award programme covers tuition and other compulsory university fees. A monthly allowance may be granted to successful award recipients pursuing full-time studies.
