Established in 2000 by St John of God Health Care (Ballarat) to celebrate the contribution of Sister Cecily Dunne SJG who was the principal nurse educator of the School of Nursing, St John of God Hospital, Ballarat from 1971 until it closed in 1990.

The scholarship is valued at $4,000, to be paid in one lump sum. There is one scholarship available.
