Applicants must be resident in Israel, Palestine/ Occupied Territories or Palestinian camps in Syria, Jordan or Lebanon and in possession of a formal offer of a place on the MSc Human Rights at LSE. They must be able to demonstrate both financial need and the potential to engage in, promote and set high standards for human rights work in the region. Eligible applicants will be required to submit a personal statement in which they should explain how they meet the criteria set out for the scholarship and how they envisage putting their study programme to practical use.

Benefits
The scholarship has a value of £28,000 which will cover the tuition fee of £21,576 with the remainder available to support living expenses. Further LSE funds may be available. One scholarship is awarded each year.

• Make a formal application to LSE to the MSc Human Rights via the online LSE application form as early as possible. • Once holding an offer of a place, eligible students will be invited to apply for the Sir Siegmund Warburg Scholarship. • Submission details will be sent directly to eligible applicants.
