Scholarships for University of Rome "Roma Tre" Students
Each year, up to five JCU students (either degree-seeking or visiting) will be allowed to attend a maximum of five courses at Roma Tre covered by scholarships. Students will be evaluated according to Roma Tre assessment methods and criteria. Final grade must be at least 23/30 in order to pass the course and obtain transfer credit at JCU. Students will receive a grade report from Roma Tre’s Segreteria Centrale.
Majors and minors in Italian Studies and students interested in taking Law courses such as Diritto Privato, Diritto Costituzionale, and Diritto Privato Comparato are encouraged to apply.
- Junior or Senior status (at least 60 or 90 credits taken at JCU).
- Fluency in Italian. IT 302 course with a grade of B is the minimum requirement. A proficiency exam will be administered to students who have not taken IT 302.
In order to apply, please submit the following to Prof. Federica Capoferri (through Faculty Support):
an application letter in English,
a copy of your transcript,
a 500 word essay in Italian describing why you would be interested in studying at Roma Tre and how you think this experience would benefit you.

Students will receive all the benefits of being a regular JCU student, including academic advising.
