Each year LSE awards a number of scholarships, funded by private or corporate donations. The number, value, eligibility criteria and type of scholarships vary from year to year.

All scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial circumstances in the first instance, and secondly take into account academic merit.

The Robert A. Peterson Scholarship in Global Media and Communications has been established by the Global Communications Development Network (GCDN) in memory of it's founder Robert A. Peterson who was a leading figure in communications.

Eligibility

  • The Robert A. Peterson Scholarship in Global Media and Communications will be awarded to an offer holder for the full-time MSc in Global Media and Communications double degree programme between LSE and the University of Southern California.
  • This scholarship is avalialble for Year 1 at LSE only.

submitted the LSE Graduate Financial Support Application (including Section G: Personal Statement) accessed via the Graduate Application Tracker. Within the personal statement, you must explain fully your background and if applicable, where you are in the process of applying for refugee status; as much detail as possible will be helpful in assessing your application;

received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional).
