• Have completed at least one PLTW course (strong preference will be given to students who have completed three PLTW courses) • Be nominated by a high school STEM teacher, guidance counselor or principal (one nomination per school, please.) • Have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 • Apply for admission to a STEM program at UMass Lowell by the application deadline: Early Action- November 1, Regular Decision: February 1.

Benefits
• The scholarship has a maximum award value of $5,000 for Massachusetts residents and $10,000 for out-of-state residents. It is renewable for four years of undergraduate study, provided a minimum GPA of 3.0 is maintained.
