PhD Scholarships in Law or Criminology at University of Sheffield in UK, 2017

A number of scholarship opportunities are available for applicants who wish to undertake a PhD in Law or Criminology at the University of Sheffield.
The School of Law provides world-class learning and teaching, and carry out research of global relevance.
The University of Sheffield is a premier-league, research-led institution with a population of over 25,000 students including more than 6,500 international students from over 115 countries.
Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
- Applicants should have or expect to achieve, a first or upper second class UK honours degree or equivalent.
- Applicants should be applying to start your first year of study on a full-time or part-time PhD with the University in academic year 2017/18 (after 1st October 2016).
- Awards are open to UK, EU and international applicants.
The TOEFL® test is a popular option for students to meet the English-language requirements for scholarships.
Scholarship covers the cost of tuition fees (UK, EU or Overseas) and provides an annual, tax-free maintenance stipend at the standard UK Research rate.
It is possible to apply for more than one type of scholarship, so please apply for all that relevant for your area of research in order to give you the best chance of being successful. You must apply for a place of study at the University of Sheffield before applying for a scholarship.
