An exciting 3-year PhD scholarship opportunity on our ARC Discovery Project is available at Early Start University of Wollongong for international and domestic candidates who are interested in researching associations between movement behaviours – including physical activity, sedentary behaviour and sleep – and health and developmental outcomes during early childhood. The successful candidate will work with leading researchers nationally and internationally to support the development of a large international database known as the Sleep and Activity Database for the Early Years (SADEY). We are open to potential candidates from a range of disciplinary backgrounds including physical activity and public health, data science/statistics, informatics/programming or related areas.
