Early Start at the University of Wollongong was awarded funding under the NSW Ministry of Health’s Prevention Research Support Program (PRSP), in collaboration with the Centre for Population Health and five Local Health Districts, to support children and young people to optimise their health and wellbeing, particularly through healthy eating and physical activity.

Eligibility
This position is available to both domestic and international students. To be eligible, candidates must have completed a Bachelor Degree in public health, education, nutrition, dietetics or a related discipline. Direct entry into the PhD will require a Bachelor’s degree with Honours or a Master’s degree with a substantial research component. Other forms of research experience may be considered, such as research undertaken in a Health Promotion Officer position.
