This project is supported by the ARC Research Hub for Integrated Energy Storage Solutions at UNSW which conducts research in securing a reliable and economically efficient energy supply. This particular project involves research into flow batteries, including iron and vanadium-based systems.
The project offers the PhD candidate an opportunity to enter an exciting critical field for energy storage and be part of an international leading research team. The scholarship is open to both domestic and international students.
The scholarship is open to both international and domestic applicants.
The candidate is expected to hold the equivalent of a First-Class Honours degree in Engineering or Chemistry. The candidate must meet the UNSW admission requirements for the higher Degree Research UNSW (https://selfassessment.research.unsw.edu.au/)**
Demonstrated research capability (through undergraduate or Masters thesis) in engineering or chemistry.
Excellent communication, teamwork and management skills.
$28,092 per annum living expenses.
