Two full scholarships are available for applicants to the full-time DPhil in Zoology. Preference will be given to projects which involve the application of computational methods to biological questions.
The scholarship covers course fees, college fees and a grant for living costs of at least £14,296. Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed course. The scholarship is jointly funded by the University and by NaturalMotion Ltd. NaturalMotion Ltd develops computational methods for animating movement, as used in Hollywood films and computer games. The founder, Torsten Reil, is an alumnus of the Department of Zoology at Oxford.
