Leo Tong Chen is a Saïd Business School alumnus who completed the MBA program in 2001. Tong Chen was a young entrepreneur when he joined the MBA program and went on to found dGav Capital, a venture capital investment management firm focusing on the new material, new energy, electronic vehicles, environment protection, healthcare, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence sectors.
In 2017 Tong Chen felt he was now at the point in his career where he was able to give something back and thus established the Oxford Leo Tong Chen Scholarships in partnership with Saïd Business School’s Alumni Annual Fund.
Candidates must be ordinarily resident in China, USA, United Kingdom, Australia or New Zealand (determined via the 'About You' section of the MBA application form).
Awarded on the basis of academic excellence demonstrated through degree results, GMAT or GRE score, previous university prizes and awards, and other academic achievements.
