The University of Oxford and Oak Foundation are jointly offering scholarships for citizens of Nepal, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Vietnam. These scholarships are awarded for pursuing full-time DPhil in Clinical Medicine, specialising in Tropical Medicine and Global Health.
Scholarships aim to fund the brightest future scientists and make a significant impact on infectious disease research around the world.
The University of Oxford is a collegiate research university located in Oxford, England, United Kingdom.
Candidates whose first language is not English or who have not studied at an English-speaking university are required to take either the TOEFL or IELTS tests.
Up to four full scholarships are available for applicants who are ordinarily resident in Nepal, Zimbabwe, Kenya or Vietnam and who are applying to the full-time DPhil in Clinical Medicine, specialising in Tropical Medicine and Global Health.
The TOEFL® test is a popular option for students to meet the English-language requirements for scholarships.
The scholarship covers course fees, college fees and a grant for living costs of at least £14,296.
There is no separate application process for this scholarship: to be considered, submit your application for graduate study by the relevant January deadline (6 January 2017).
