We think it’s our values and commitment to people that set the NatSteel scholarship apart. At NatSteel, opportunities for personal growth, career advancement and exciting work across our regional operations are abound.
But what makes a good scholarship great? We think it’s our values, especially our commitment to put people first. NatSteel only offers a select few the scholarship each year, so we can focus on grooming each scholar through a bespoke development programme. The same applies to our study awards, given to promising students who have already begun their undergraduate studies.
As a scholar or study awardee, you will be given opportunities to experience multiple internship stints in different business units in NatSteel. We will also invite you to join us in our recreational activities, community work and corporate events, to familiarise yourself with the NatSteel culture.
Upon graduation, you will be given exposure to the dynamic global steel market. In line with our philosophy of nurturing people, you can expect to have exciting job rotations and cross-functional projects.
Fields of study: Accountancy Civil Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering Industrial & Systems Engineering Material Engineering Mechanical Engineering Environmental Engineering Double Degree pursuits with one degree in Engineering Operations Management Discipline or specialisation
A NatSteel Scholar or Study Awardee starts as a soon-to-be undergraduate of: Nanyang Technological University; National University of Singapore; Singapore Management University; Singapore University of Technology and Design. Requirements: Excellent GCE 'A' Level results ('H3' papers or equivalent are an advantage). International Baccalaureate. Polytechnic graduates with diploma distinctions in the relevant fields. Outstanding CCA records demonstrating leadership qualities, and the ability to work in teams to execute projects. Passion for community work and for pursuits outside school.
The TOEFL® test is a popular option for students to meet the English-language requirements for scholarships.
Full Tuition Fees + Annual Allowance of $8,000.
