Moray House School of Education and Sport is pleased to offer a scholarship covering tuition fees and living costs for one student. The scholarship is for students from backgrounds or groups which are underrepresented in our School.

The scholarships are available for most of our postgraduate taught programmes for students commencing study in September. The eligible programmes are as follows: • MSc Comparative Education and International Development • MSc Dance Science and Education • MSc Dance Science and Education with QTs • MSc Digital Education • MSc Education (including all specialist pathways) • MSc / PgDip Inclusive Education • MSc Language and Intercultural Communication • MSc / PgDip Language Education • MSc / PgDip Outdoor Education • MSc / PgDip Outdoor Environmental and Sustainability Education • MSc / PgDip Performance Psychology • MSc / PgDip Physical Activity for Health • MSc Sport Policy, Management and International Development • MSc / PgDip Strength and Conditioning • MSc / PgDip Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)

Applicants who are fully sponsored by their employer or are in receipt of a full scholarship are not eligible for these scholarships. Applicants can only accept one scholarship from the University of Edinburgh Moray House School of Education and Sport. • You must be a UK national domiciled in the UK. • You must be an offer-holder (conditional or unconditional) for an eligible Master’s programme at Moray House School of Education and Sport.

The award covers full tuition fees and a stipend at the equivalent rate to that offered by the Research Councils of the United Kingdom.


Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application In order to gain access to the scholarship application system applicants must have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh. Please note that, following the submission of an application for admission, it can take up to ten working days for all system checks to be completed and for access to be granted.
