Swansea University Medical School is offering 20 postgraduate scholarships, each worth £1,500 towards tuition fees, for UK or EU students starting postgraduate courses in September 2018.
You must hold an offer to study on an eligible master's course at Swansea University Medical School. Students must be enrolling on a taught master’s programme at Swansea University Medical School for the first time in September 2018:
MSc Applied Analytical Science (LCMS)MSc Autism and Related ConditionsMSc Clinical MedicineMSc Diabetes PracticeMSc Health Data ScienceMSc Health InformaticsMSc Leadership for the Health ProfessionsMSc Medical EducationMSc Medical Radiation PhysicsMSc NanomedicineSelection will be based on academic merit and not financial need.Scholarship holders may be asked to cooperate with the Medical School’s recruitment activities.Each scholarship is to be offset against tuition fees.
Awards are available for both full-time and part-time study. For students studying part-time, the award will be made on a pro-rata basis.Applicants can also apply for the University’s Taught Master's Scholarships. If eligible only one scholarship will be awarded.Applicants must have accepted their offer of place to study on the programme in order to be considered for the Medical School Postgraduate Scholarship.This scholarship will not impact on the applicant’s eligibility to receive the Welsh Government Postgraduate Bursaries.Applicants will be informed of the outcome by 31 August 2018.
The TOEFL® test is a popular option for students to meet the English-language requirements for scholarships.
Each scholarship is worth £1,500, to be used towards the cost of tuition fees.
