Applicants undertaking University studies for the first time are eligible to apply for McGill University Entrance Scholarships.
CEGEP and French Baccalaureate candidates applying to the Faculty of Law are strongly encouraged to apply for University Entrance Scholarships if they meet the academic and other relevant criteria. For more information, visit McGill Scholarships on the Scholarships & Student Aid website.
McGill offers a need-based Entrance Financial Aid program. This program is offered to students admitted to McGill who are entering the first year of full time undergraduate studies in the Fall term. This program offers financial aid to students from modest income families who require assistance to enable them to attend McGill. Since financial need is the primary criterion in the selection of award recipients, it is expected that applicants of this program will apply to the government student aid programs for which they may be eligible.
