We are delighted to announce that Marine Harvest Scotland (Ltd) is sponsoring two scholarships for our Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree. Our Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in AquaCulture, Environment and Society (EM JMD ACES) will give you a unique opportunity to study in the United Kingdom, Crete and France, as well as allowing you to gain the practical and theoretical skills needed for a successful career in aquaculture through industry-led research programmes and fieldwork.
This unique opportunity will give students insight into an industry that has become Scotland’s biggest food exporter. A scholarship will be available for our 2017-2019 intake and applications are invited from graduates from EU member states – the closing date for applications is 5 June 2017.
If you are committed to developing the specialist and practical skills needed to address the challenges and pressures facing an industry which is set to become globally the fastest growing animal-food producing sector, then we would love to hear from you!
Applicants must have a background in marine biology/science, fisheries, aquaculture and/or environmental studies.
The TOEFL® test is a popular option for students to meet the English-language requirements for scholarships.
This two-year sponsorship will fund one student per year and will cover participation (tuition) fees and an opportunity to work with Marine Harvest as part of s research dissertation.
