The NUS Faculty of Law is pleased to invite applications for the “Lo Hwei Yen Memorial Scholarship” (hereafter called “Scholarship”). The international law firm of Stephenson Harwood (hereafter called “Law Firm”) has pledged to donate &/or raise donations from other parties for a total sum of $150,000 for the endowed Scholarship fund. The preliminary target is to reach this sum in three years.

Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the Scholarship, the applicant must: • be at least 18 years of age; and • be enrolled in the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore. In making its recommendations, the Selection Committee shall consider the candidate’s overall academic records from his/her 1st to 3rd year LLB. The Selection Committee shall have the authority and discretion to make all decisions pertaining to the award of the Scholarships

Benefits
One Scholarship per academic year will be awarded to an academically meritorious 4th year law student, based on the candidate’s overall academic records from his/her 1st to 3rd year LLB. The Scholarship award shall be $6,000 to be used firstly to cover the Scholarship recipient’s tuition fees for the undergraduate LLB programme, and any balance will be used for living allowance
Application
For all Faculty-Level Donated Scholarships, interested applicants should submit your application together with supporting documents via NUS Undergraduate Scholarship Application Portal by 10 May. Supporting documents should include: personal statement, CV, copies of academic records, relevant co-curricular activity records and other relevant supporting documents.
