The Hillary Rodham Clinton Global Challenges Graduate Scholarship Programme aims to facilitate international cooperation to address urgent national and transnational challenges.
The Programme, which is supported by Sky, will develop the next generation of outstanding, forward-looking and real-world focussed leaders in scholarship, activism and practice.
Scholars will demonstrate academic excellence alongside a creative, action-oriented approach to collaboration and partnership working. They will follow a one-year (12 months) Master of Arts degree in Global Challenges: Law, Policy and Practice, commencing in January 2022. The degree programme is based on experiential learning, and includes a research project placement. In addition, Scholars will benefit from a range of additional activities, including mentorship, guest speakers, visits and media training.
Five Scholarships are now available for students with particular interests in:
  • Digital inclusion
  • Racial injustice
  • Children‚Äôs rights
  • Environment and climate change
  • Human rights

Candidates must be able to commence their studies in January 2022.


You will hold a first class degree, either in law or a relevant discipline, with strong overall and individual module performance. Exceptional candidates with an upper second class degree who can demonstrate relevant additional experience may also be considered.

If English or Welsh is not your first language you will need an acceptable pass in an approved English language qualification such as the IELTS test (with an overall score of at least 7.0 and a minimum of 6.5 in each component).

This scholarship is open to students of any nationality.
