The NUS Faculty of Law is pleased to inform that an expendable Scholarship has been set up by the family of the late Mr KK Menon, who wishes to honour his memory with this gift. Mr KK Menon was born in India in 1926 and came to Singapore in 1961 and worked as a civil servant. He retired in the mid-80s after more than 30 years in the Government Service and returned to India for his retirement. He passed away on 8 June 2012 at the age of 86 years old.

Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the Scholarship, the applicant must undertake the LLB programme in consecutive academic years. In making its recommendations, the Selection Committee shall consider the candidates' academic record, financial circumstances and extra-curricular activities records. The Selection Committee reserves the right not to award any scholarship, if there are no candidates of sufficient merit.

Benefits
The Scholarship award shall be Ten Thousand Singapore Dollars (S$10,000.00). Each Scholarship is only tenable for the academic year in which it is awarded. A scholarship shall be tenable only for the academic year in which it is awarded but all awardees may re-apply in any subsequent academic year.
Application
For all Faculty-Level Donated Scholarships, interested applicants should submit your application together with supporting documents via NUS Undergraduate Scholarship Application Portal by 10 May. Supporting documents should include: personal statement, CV, copies of academic records, relevant co-curricular activity records and other relevant supporting documents.
