JYU tuition fee scholarships are awarded to cover tuition costs. There are two categories and several scholarships are awarded in each Master's degree programme, based on programme-specific admission criteria.

- eligible to apply for one of the international master’s degree programmes

Benefits
Each Master's degree programme offers two scholarships covering 100% of the tuition fee and four scholarships covering 50% of the tuition fee. The JYU tuition fee scholarships are awarded for two years. To receive the scholarship for the second year of studies, the students have to proceed in their studies as planned (min. of 55 ECTS during first year).
The scholarships are granted based on academic merit demonstrated during the application process. In each master's programme, the following scholarships are available for application:
- 1 scholarship that covers 100% of the tuition fee for two years + a one-time grant of EUR 5,000 (Finland Scholarship)
- 2 scholarships that cover 100% of the tuition fee for two years (JYU tuition fee scholarship)
- 4 scholarships that cover 50% of the tuition fee for two years (JYU tuition fee scholarship)
Application
You can apply for a JYU Scholarship using the same application form with which you apply for admission by filling in the appropriate section. By doing so, you will automatically apply for both the Finland Scholarship and the JYU tuition fee scholarship.
