The International Excellence Scholarship is awarded to overseas undergraduate students who apply to study in the School of Engineering in recognition of academic excellence. An applicant must:
- Be classed as Overseas for fee purposes
- Have made a programme in the School of Engineering their firm choice
- Have achieved A*AA/AAAA at A Level in accepted subjects, or equivalent qualifications.
Scholars cannot be in receipt of a fully funded fees scholarship from an external body. (Part-funded students should contact the Admissions Tutor for further information with regards to eligibility).

Benefits
£1,500 as a tuition fee contribution. This scholarship will be paid directly to the University of Birmingham on behalf of the award holder.
Application
There is no application process. The awards will be made automatically to all eligible students admitted to the School of Engineering at the University of Birmingham who apply by the end of September to commence their studies in the October of their year of entry.
