Wuhan University, located by the beautiful Luojia Mountain in the city of Wuhan, is a comprehensive and key national university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of China. Its history can be traced back to Ziqiang Institute, which was founded in 1893 by Zhang Zhidong, then governor of Hubei Province and Hunan Province in the late Qing Dynasty. In the process of development and evolution, the institute changed its name for several times before it was finally named National Wuhan University in 1928 and became one of the earliest national universities in modern China.

• Non-Chinese citizens; • Should be friendly to China, have no criminal record, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of the school; • In good physical and mental conditions, and with a good record of academic performance and conduct; • Aspiring to work in the Chinese language education and related fields; • Between the ages of 16 and 35 (as of September 1st, 2022). Applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers should not be over 45, while undergraduate student applicants should not be over 25.

For programs commencing in February 2023, student application must complete before 15 November, 2022.
