Human and Health Sciences: Eira Francis Davies Scholarship at Swansea University for International Female Students

The College of Human and Health Sciences, Swansea University, invites females students ordinarily resident in a developing country to apply for the Eira Francis Davies Scholarship. The scholarship is available to female students studying taught master’s postgraduate courses within the College of Human and Health Sciences. The Eira Francis Davies Scholarship is a full tuition fee scholarship, and will be awarded to the student demonstrating academic excellence and evidence of financial need. It is a condition of the award that the successful student return to their home country after completion of their studies, providing details of how their degree will better the lives of those at home.
Applicants should hold a minimum of a 2:1 Bachelors degree, 3 A-Levels (excluding General Studies) at grade A-B, and 5 GCSEs at grade A-B ( or equivalent qualifications and grades). Applicants must meet the English Language requirements on any stipulated condition of offer and UKVI requirements (Please visit the following website for more information: http://www.swansea.ac.uk/admissions/englishlanguagerequirements/).Candidates must be female, and usually resident in one of the countries listed here. Candidates must be enrolling for their first, full-time postgraduate course.Candidates must have accepted an offer of a place to study at Swansea University within the College of Human and Health Sciences.Candidates must demonstrate strong academic ability and financial need.Candidates should not be eligible for other financial support from Swansea University e.g. tuition fee reductions through collaborative links or bursaries.Please note that students progressing from ICWS are not eligible to apply for an international scholarship.
