The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong academic record, focused research agenda, and enthusiasm about the resources available at the University of Washington. Application materials should consist of the following: (1) A current curriculum vitae (2) A description of your scholarly interests and your proposed research project during your Cole Fellowship year (3) Proposal for a course you would like to teach, including a prospective syllabus (4) Two letters of recommendation (5) An academic writing sample, such as a chapter from a dissertation, book or article The deadline is 5:00 pm PST on October 31st; late application materials will not be accepted.
