Willy Brandt School of Public Policy is Germany's oldest public policy school situated within its newest public university. Created in 2002 as part of the Faculty of Legal, Social and Economic Sciences it has operated since as an interdisciplinary, practice-oriented and international institute of higher education that has been preparing students for the demands and challenges of today's complex political world.
Haniel Stipends are open to applicants showing excellence from Germany, Western Europe, the United States, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Like the Haniel Scholarships, Haniel Stipends are awarded to applicants who demonstrate exceptional accomplishment and intellectual promise.
The application deadline for the Haniel Stipend is August 1st.

Benefits
Stipends cover the costs of the tuition fees at the Brandt School for the two-year study period (€6,000). Stipend rates will be allotted per semester (€1,500 per semester).
