It commemorates Frederick Ost, architect of Prague,Wellington and Auckland, and was established in 1988 through a bequest under the will of his widow, Greta Ostova.
Frederick Ost Scholarship in Architecture
Eligibility
- The scholarship shall be available to a candidate who has been awarded or qualified for the award of the degree of Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture (Professional) and who intends to travel outside New Zealand for further study.
- In awarding the Scholarship; the attainment of the candidate in respects of the criteria for Honours in the degree of Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture (Professional), the proposed study plans and itinerary, and the financial and other circumstances of the candidate shall be taken into account.
