The University is offering a £250 cash bursary to support students progressing into higher education following the global pandemic who complete the pre-arrival study skills course.
Essex Preparation Programme Bursary
• You must meet all of the following conditions: • Register for your first year of study for a full-time undergraduate degree course starting in October 2022 • Complete the pre-arrival study skills course before 5 October 2022; please note you must complete the full course and receive the completion certificate to be eligible • Eligible courses are full time courses leading to the award of a Foundation Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Integrated Masters (four years), or year 0 of an Essex Pathways Degree course. • Students who aren't eligible • Are studying University of Essex Online courses** • Defer your offer to 2023-2024 academic year • Are studying on East 15 courses • Are directly continuing from one course to another (for example from Foundation degree on to the final year of an honours degree) • Are progressing from the University of Essex International College • Are progressing from year 0 to year 1 of study in 2022-2023 • This does not include students whose main programme of study should be on campus but whom start their studies online due to the pandemic.

You will need to complete the pre-arrival study skills course before 5 October 2022. You must fully complete the course and receive the certificate of completion. You will be automatically identified and will be notified via your Essex email by the end of October 2022, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria listed above.
