The University of Tokyo was established in 1877 as the first national university in Japan. As a leading research university, UTokyo offers courses in essentially all academic disciplines at both undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research across the full spectrum of academic activity. The University aims to provide its students with a rich and varied academic environment that ensures opportunities for both intellectual development and the acquisition of professional knowledge and skills.
- Those who are Taiwan nationals.
- Those who have outstanding academic records and the ability to graduate from the UTokyo, and qualify for a scholarship to complete their studies.Applicants who already have been enrolled two years and started working on their research papers would be foundation’s first choice.
Guidelines and application forms are available on the Foundation website. Applicants must email a copy of the application to the foundation, then send the original by registered mail to them.
Those who are selected as a scholarship recipients must attend a meeting and reception held by the foundation on November 13th.
