In March 2018, the Children of Fallen Heroes Scholarship was authorized under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2018. Under the scholarship, a Pell-eligible student whose parent or guardian died in the line of duty while performing as a public safety officer is eligible to receive a maximum Federal Pell Grant for the award year for which the determination is made.

Application
In subsequent award years, the student continues to be eligible for the scholarship (increased Pell award), as long as the student has a Pell-eligible expected family contribution (EFC) and continues to be an eligible student. If you meet the eligibility requirements, please contact the office.
