Fully Funded KESS II MSc by Research Scholarship: Transforming towards the circular economy by leveraging digital technology – advancing the research and practice through the experiences of the Welsh economy

The project will focus on exploring and analysing the opportunities for the Welsh economy provided through a potential transition towards the circular economy. Working together with one of the world’s pre-eminent IT services companies, Capgemini (who have their Welsh home in Trefforest), the research will particularly consider the implications of the use of digital technology to aid this transformation.

This research and knowledge exchange will undertake an evaluation of five small to medium sized organisations that are implementing or planning to implement circular economy principles. These are in the following areas:

outdoor apparel, paint recycling and re-use,paper recycling, wood construction products androad signage manufacture.
