Baxendale scholarships for UK and EU Students at University College London
- 15 May 2020
The Alan Stanley Baxendale Charitable Trust offers a number of scholarships each year with a value of £7,000, redeemable against the cost of tuition. (In 2018, we were able to award four scholarships.) These are available to incoming UK or EU students on any of our MA courses and will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates wishing to be considered for a Baxendale Scholarship must have received, and accepted, the offer of a place at UCL by 30 June. All eligible candidates whose applications have been received by this date will be considered.
The UCL student funding office has built a scholarship finder that applicants can use to search for university funding schemes that might apply to them. These may be limited by country of origin, financial need, or other criteria.
The TOEFL® test is a popular option for students to meet the English-language requirements for scholarships.
One scholarship is awarded each year to a postgraduate student (taught or research) who is working in the field of medieval history. Particular consideration will be given to mature students and female students. The award has a value of £2,500, redeemable against the cost of tuition. Those wishing to be considered for this award must have submitted their complete application to UCL (including references) by 15 May**.** All eligible candidates whose applications have been received by this date will be considered.
