Azrieli Institute for Israel Studies
The Azrieli Institute of Israel Studies at Concordia University is a multi disciplinary research centre that brings together students, faculty and researchers who are dedicated to the study of Israel in all its facets.
In an effort to promote faculty-based projects, stimulate research and teaching, and contribute to the study of the state of Israel, locally, nationally and internationally, the Institute is offering financial support in the form of grants and scholarships in the following categories:
- Current Concordia graduate students can apply for one of two graduate fellowships, valued at $7,000 each.
- Applicants with a completed, or nearly completed, PhD can apply for a $24,000 post-doctoral fellowship.
In order to be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must be registered in a graduate program at any Department of Concordia University. Students are not eligible to receive this fellowship in two consecutive academic years. Decisions about the applications are made by the Awards Committee of the Institute, which is chaired by the Director. The awards cannot be given to students registered at the same Department.
The TOEFL® test is a popular option for students to meet the English-language requirements for scholarships.
The Azrieli Institute is pleased to offer Montefiore graduate fellowships annually in the amount of $7,000 each for the 2016-17 academic year.
The Azrieli Institute is pleased to offer a postdoctoral fellowship in the amount of $24,000 for the 2016-17 academic year.
