    The Aerospace MSc Bursary Scheme aims to:Generate more aerospace MSc qualified professionals with high level skills who will work in the sector; and toUp-skill the existing UK aerospace workforce and reinforce the supply of skilled people with knowledge and expertise in key areas of technology for the future.Cranfield is in an excellent position to meet both of these aims. As a postgraduate only institution with a long history of refining industry focused MSc programmes it offers an exceptional learning experience that prepares graduates for the demands of working in industry. With many MSc programmes available for flexible, part-time study, Cranfield is also well equipped to meet the learning needs of experienced professional wishing to up-skill or specialise in a technical discipline. The Scheme will pay MSc tuition fees (up to £9,500) on behalf of successful applicants. Bursaries will be awarded to candidates who can demonstrate their commitment to working in the UK aerospace sector and who have been offered a place on an eligible MSc programme.

    Eligibility

    Applicants should be able to fulfil at least one of the following qualifying statements:

    • Currently employed in the UK aerospace sector (including firms in the sector supply chain), applying with the support of your employer
    • Not yet employed in the sector but with practical or financial support from a UK aerospace company (including the sector supply chain)
    • Not yet employed in the sector and applying directly to the scheme as an independent candidate, i.e. without practical or financial support from a UK aerospace firm (including the sector’s supply chain). If you are successful, the Scheme will introduce you to relevant employers.
    • The bursaries are relevant to a wide range of applicants. Whatever your background you will need strong motivation and firm commitment to a career in aerospace in the UK.
