Study grants for international students (Unibo Action 2)
The University of Bologna offers study grants to deserving international students who wish to register for first cycle, second cycle or single cycle Degree Programmes at the University of Bologna every year.
If you are an international student, of any nationality in possession of (or about to obtain) a qualification from an institute outside of the Italian system, you may apply for an annual study grant of €11,000 gross. Applicants need to be younger than 30 on the deadline of this call.
The study grants are awarded on the basis of the following criteria:
- the results of the SAT test if you wish to register in a first cycle and single cycle degree programme.
- the results of the GRE test if you wish to register for a second cycle degree programme.
SAT and GRE test are aptitude and skills assessment tests. The tests can be sat in authorised centres in various countries around the world; they are held in English.
You must enrol for the tests on the websites of the authorised organisations. You must have sat the SAT or GRE test by the application deadline. To send the results, for UNIBO the SAT code is 6993 and the GRE code is 7850.
International students younger than 30 and registering in First, Second and Single Cycle Degree Programmes at the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna.
International students are all those whose qualifications for admission to the chosen First, Single or Second Cycle degree programme were obtained in an institution outside of the Italian education system, in spite of the citizenship.
By registering is meant the first enrolment to the first year in the degree programmes. Enrolling in years following the first year, transferring from a degree programme to another or from a university to another, is not considered registering. The 11,000 € gross can be used to cover for fees and personal expenses.
The 11,000 € gross will be paid in three installments and will be at the student's disposal to pay for tuition fees, books, accommodation and personal expenses.
